my whole fallacy is wrong

After note-taking my way through Annie Hall last weekend and analyzing the scenes, I go on "The Internet" and find out Wikipedia has a whole page, or section, about "nonlinear narrative."

Wik:  "Beginning a narrative in medias res (Latin:  "into the middle of things") began in ancient times and was established as a convention of epic poetry with Homer's Iliad in the 8th century BC."

The 8th Century??!!  (You mean someone thought of studying this before I did??)

(Standing on head, in  astonishment and exasperation....)
