The other day, putting the Eagles' song "Take It Easy" on here, realized when trying to select a line to use as the title of the blog post -- any line in that song could be a title of a blog post! Seriously, study it --
"well I'm a-runnin' down the road"
...that's a good title for a blog post.
"such a fine sight to see"
...good title...
"take it easy, take it easy"
"just find a place to make your stand"
Every line of that song could be a title!...
-------------------------- A very excellently wily moment of that song is,
"Well I'm a-standing on a corner
in Winslow, Arizona"...the tight harmonies and a barely perceptible vocal punch on that line seem to emphasize the rhythm even better than a roomful of drums -- it just has a built-in "hook" that is not to be resisted.
Like in their song "Lyin' Eyes" where it says,
"Well my oh my --
ya sure know
how-to arrange things..."
----------------------- Built-in irresistible hooks -- they "capture" us -- we are -- hooked!
