In the very early part of the movie, there's a glitch where the sound goes out. But it's only gone for about one minute. Then the sound is back, and the rest of the movie is perfect.
It came out in 1989.
The story is set in the summer of 1963, at Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, which is a real place.
"We're going to make like a tree, and leave."
"Where have I seen you before?"
"Maybe in one of your better dreams."
The make-out parking spot is named "Wee-Waw Point."
What can I say?!
