Lately, thoughts of the 1976 film Network occasionally surface in my mind.  This  movie contains the famous scene where the television anchorman exhorts his audience to stick their heads out of their windows and yell, "I'm as mad as hell and I'm not gonna take this anymore!"











All these people yelling out of their windows, in the dark, with rain and lightning:  a scene containing no violence or vulgarity, it's affecting and memorable.  And funny.
