all my memories gathered 'round
When I mentally organize and arrange and savor memories from my childhood years, I remember going on trips, and I always appreciate the good fortune of that...
but then when I was writing here about Ohio, and following the memory trail and starting to realize, OK, I never really visited any destinations in western Ohio, or southern Ohio. Or -- come to think of it -- northern Ohio -- except to drive through it to get to Ann Arbor for a wedding...
I start to rearrange my perception and think, "OK, maybe I wasn't exactly well-traveled around the entire state of Ohio, so much as I was... well-traveled -- in -- the Akron-Canton area..."

And continuing reading in The Free Encyclopedia about southern Ohio, there's a section titled "Notable people" and as you scroll down through a list with an astronaut, TV and movie people, etc., you come to William Henry Harrison, 9th US President...
and I was saying, "Oh, wow! A president!" And then after William Henry Harrison, there's Ulysses S. Grant, 18th US President -- another one! And then after Grant, there's James Abram Garfield, 20th US President...
and then -- OK -- just keep on scrolling -- southern Ohio is "lousy with" presidents! LOL ...Six U.S. presidents came from there!
William Henry Harrison
Ulysses S. Grant
-------------------------
James Garfield
Benjamin Harrison
William McKinley,
and William Howard Taft.
Whoa. And then further investigation brought this information to light:
Ohio had a total of 7 presidents who came from there, the six from Southern Ohio, plus Warren Harding, who came from Marion, Ohio. The only state with more presidents than Ohio is Virginia: they had 8.

Repeal of Obamacare
-----------------------
CNN Money headline --
"4 ways the Republican health care bill will benefit the rich"
CNN Money
News story
"Who gets hurt and who gets helped if Obamacare is repealed"
---------------------------- [excerpts / highlights] --------------- House Republicans have finally fulfilled their years-long pledge to repeal and replace Obamacare....
Younger Americans could get cheaper plans...
Healthy people could buy less expensive policies in some states...
Middle class and higher-income Americans could get tax breaks and perks...
Lower-income people could be left uninsured...
Older Americans pay more...
Those with pre-existing conditions could be charged more and get less coverage
----------------------------------------
On Twitter:
U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders -- The Republican "health care" bill...has nothing to do with health care and everything to do with tax breaks for the wealthy.
...People who can't afford health care do not deserve to die. I don't know how we can make it any clearer than that.
U.S. Representative Grace Meng -- This bears repeating because this bill is so terrible: I will be voting NO on #TrumpCare, NO to millions losing insurance, NO 2 higher costs.
