World's most boring interesting feature story (lol), while trying to escape news about Pres. Trump's and North Korea's mutual saber-rattling -- off in the margin it showed "Most Popular Surname by State," and a map of the United States, with each state having three last names typed on...


I started reading down, expecting to be fascinated, and then realized I had subconsciously assumed these would be last names that were unusual, or interesting -- then realized, wait a minute, "most popular" (or, more accurately, "most common") is sort of the opposite of unusual or interesting, when you carefully consider it... I also thought they would be different for each state... I started reading...
