International Intrigue
European train
in "The Lady Vanishes"
begins the action
Rebecca - 1940
"Last night I dreamt I
went to Manderley" - the past
insinuates gloom...
Strangers on a Train - 1951
taut uneasiness
infiltrates lovely lives met
by desire and rage
suspense in the aftermath
"Notorious" haunts,
by mood and method - secrets
of hearts and nations
