I had to become a You Tube sleuth to find the song that's on the opening credits of Smokey And The Bandit.

Mr. Hallandvik provided the song's lyrics in subtitles which are in some language - Norwegian? Dutch? Finnish? Hungarian? ... I don't know.
The song, recorded in 1977, is called "The Legend" and was written by Bill Justis and Jerry Reed.
For some reason, I love the idea of a European man being so enthusiastic about an American movie that he has to give us a video on You Tube.
Here in the U.S., when we see an Italian movie with subtitles, or a French film, we refer to it as "a foreign movie."
I wonder if, in Europe, when people plan to watch Smokey And The Bandit, they call it a foreign movie. ...
