the spies who probably didn't love us

Now, readers of this blog can -- next time they are at a cocktail party and they remark about the Mueller investigation and someone asks in a genteel, looking-down-their-nose sort of way, "Oh, and have you read the indictment?" --

answer, "Actually, I have."

Trying to see clearly what the potential advantages and the potential problems are in international relations is kind of hard, that's why we usually leave it to presidents and members of Congress, but right now that seems a little "iffy."

I listen to videos from news reports, and try to sift through for what's true.

There's a video on You Tube titled,

John McCain: Trump abased himself before a tyrant

Someone reads Senator McCain's statement; Marco Rubio speaks in that video, as well.

They use that old-fashioned language:  "abased" himself.

As The Nanny would say, "That sounds painful."
