     I'm here to tell you, and believe me when I say -- there is a lot of stuff on You Tube.

you can watch and listen to -- Pres. Obama addressing the British Parliament.

     I listened to this speech last week, and again on the weekend.  It's a speech about the future.  

     Our 2008 - 2016 president spoke of the "special relationship" between Great Britain and the United States, touching on, as example, the "friendship between our two leaders during World War II.  Churchill and Roosevelt had their differences.  They were keen observers of each other's blind spots and shortcomings, if not always their own."

     I thought that was kind of like something Jane Austen would write -- the line got a laugh -- just the light, respectful ripple of dignified mirth like you get in church if there is gentle humor in the sermon...
