it must be one of those new doors

In Manhattan Murder Mystery, when Woody Allen rams the locked door, it makes your shoulder hurt, just watching.  Youch.

On You Tube, type in
"Sing, Sing, Sing" by Benny Goodman

Many versions of this song will appear -- there's one by an uploader, or channel, named

WorldWar2Music

which has 28M views.

That is a good version with which to begin.

This song is used in Manhattan Murder Mystery in a scene coming up soon.

And then it is used again in a later scene.  Which, to me, is kind of interesting -- that repetition.  Something I have noticed in blogging this film is that there is repetition all through it, repetition of words, and arrangements of words, and phrases.

Someone says a phrase -- "ballpark resemblance," for example   -- and then someone else says it, and it matches.

(It reminds me of when producers of "Friends" in audio commentaries on the DVDs will use the term "call-back."  Something repeats, and it reminds you of something earlier, and it's "a call-back.")

In the part covered yesterday, Larry stammeringly explains -- designs an explanation -- of why he has a book of matches from the Café des Artistes ... he was there, he says, with -- "an author...an authoress... a French authoress... an author..."
