despite attempted distractions...

Karimi v. Deutsche Bank

It's a class action lawsuit

involving some Jeffrey Epstein money.

Esther Salas was assigned the case last week.
The assassin was at her door on Sunday.

Conservative former Republican commentator George Will wrote last month, "We are the sum of our choices.  Congressional Republicans have made theirs for more than 1,200 days.

We cannot know all the measures necessary to restore the nation's health and international standing, but we know the first step.  Senate Republicans must be routed."

In an NPR interview, he was asked to elaborate:

"The Republican Party, which was founded in 1854, has never been more united.  Ninety percent of self-described Republicans support President Trump.  I do not believe that Ronald Reagan ever achieved that degree of homogeneity in the Republican Party.

So the Republican Party today is a Trump party.  For that reason, the party has been, A, impotent to act as a restraint on the president and, B, thoroughly complicit in his behavior.  For that reason, the party itself has to be judged, as well as the president that it nominated and helped reach the White House."

And there's this:

[Wikipedia] -- The Lincoln Project is an American political action committee formed in late 2019 by several prominent Republicans and former Republicans.

The goal of the committee is to prevent the reelection of Donald Trump in the 2020 presidential election and defeat his supporters in the U.S. Senate.

In April 2020, the committee announced their endorsement of presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden.
