If a person goes on-line, and types in "watercolor paintings" or "watercolor paintings of..." and pick your subject -- landscape, urban scenes, cats, dogs, etc., you get to see a variety of pictures:
























I like them.  They're like impressionist paintings.  (Maybe watercolor is considered a subset of Impressionist...)
