working on it

President Obama emphasized that America is not alone in the fight against the Islamic extremists in Syria:  five Middle East countries participated in the attacks.  [USA Today]

The Free Encyclopedia says the terrorist-extremists (known as ISIS and/or ISIL) had close links to al-Qaeda until February of this year when, after an eight-month power struggle, al-Qaeda cut all ties with the group, reportedly for its brutality and "notorious intractability."

(It would be one thing if polite, reasonable people think you're too hard to get along with, but when you get kicked to the curb by al-Qaeda...that's got to be an extreme case...)

The five Middle East countries that (impressively, it would seem) not only support this U.S. effort, but participated in the attacks in Syria, are

Saudi Arabia
Qatar
Bahrain
Jordan
The United Arab Emirates (UAE).

------------
They're tired of the extremists' horrible behavior, too.
